Personal Profile
Formally trained as a Tool maker with City and Guilds accreditation I have spent over 40 years within the engineering industry firstly designing jigs fixtures and rubber extrusion dies.
For the last 20 plus years I was running a team of engineers within the tool room of a world renowned thermoforming company this included service, repair, installation and maintenance of high precision trim tools and formers, I used to work closely with the design team incorporating my experience and design ideas into the manufacture of new tools.
For the last 10 years I have been building and maintaining cycles for myself and friends and it’s this love of all cycling disciplines that has led me to recently receive formal professional training, completing Cytech level 1 and Cytech level 2 during 2017.
After recently working with a local Engineering company on a part time consultancy basis using my knowledge of the Thermoforming industry, I found that after setting up Cymech over two years ago I became too busy with my own business, so I very happy to concentrate on the cycling side which has taken off very well
Over the last two years I have worked extensively with not only with the local cyclists but also all of the local cycling clubs. I have worked closely with many individuals to offer a very personal service and I have a loyal clientele.
The aim of Cymech is to provide a personal tailored service working closely with the customer to meet their precise requirements.
